Lecturer in Public Policy, Data and AI (Learning, Teaching and Scholarship Track)
This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and is fixed term for three years.
The postholder will contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by contributing to teaching, assessment and administration processes associated with undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and to undertake scholarship to enhance learning and teaching in the School of Social and Political Sciences.
The postholder will be based in the Division of Urban Studies and Social Policy in the School of Social and Political Sciences. The Division wishes to appoint an applicant to this role with expertise related to data-driven and data-critical public policy making, including a focus on the role of new forms of data as well as new analytical technologies. An interest in the ethical and responsible use or governance of AI technologies in policy processes and policy decisions would also be welcomed. Applicants with specialisms in international social and public policy, or social and public policy in Global Majority contexts are encouraged to apply.
