Lecturer

The Academy of Wellness and Human Development invites applications for the position of Lecturer with experience in at least one of the following areas:

• (a) Developmental Psychology
• (b) Educational Psychology
• (c) Cognitive Psychology
• (d) Inclusive Education
• (e) Environmental Psychology
• (f) Clinical Counselling; and
• (g) Technology in Human Behaviors

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to play a key role in teaching and developing courses, as well as supervising postgraduate students in these areas. Teaching in different programmes in the Academy and/or Faculty is expected.

Requirements:

Applicants should possess a PhD in Psychology and/or Education, and teaching experience at university level is preferred. They must also demonstrate a commitment to organising and undertaking local, mainland, and international programme-related outreach initiatives.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
