Lecturer - Mechanical Engineering

We are looking for candidate(s) with excellent industry experience and a degree in Mechanical Engineering to teach BTEC at levels up to HNC 4/5. A hands-on approach to teaching and learning is essential. You will need to have good subject knowledge of Engineering Design, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Production Engineering for Manufacture. Extensive knowledge in CAD and engineering workshop processes is desirable.

The position is full time, 36 hours per week however we would welcome applications for part-time roles.

Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College Group (HRUC) and is one of London’s most successful Further Education Colleges providing education and training to 16-19 year old’s and adults from across Richmond, London and Surrey, for over 80 years. We have opened a new building in 2020 and a brand-new technology-focused STEM Centre in 2024.

This exciting and innovative new learning environment is located within the grounds of the current college site, so remains convenient for public transport links – it is adjacent to the A316 and just a short walk from Twickenham rail station and a number of regular London bus routes.
