Jiangxi University of Water Resources and Electric Power, previously called Nanchang Institute of Technology is a regular institution of higher learning co-constructed by the central and local governments and subject to the administration by local government.

Civil Engineering Teacher Recruitment

1. Position: Civil engineering teacher
2. Workload: about 14 classes per week
3. Health Condition: Applicants should be in good health condition.
4. Personality: Interested in Chinese culture and language; A passion for teaching, dedication to students; Friendly manner; Open-minded and good communication skills; Easy-going;
5. No criminal records on file.

Qualifications

1. Master’s degree or above
2. Civil engineering education background, 2+ years of teaching or working experience in civil engineering
3. Candidates from ASEAN Countries, Europe, Russia, South and North Americas are preferred
4. Under 60 years old

Duties

• 16 hours per week for classroom teaching
• Other related work such as office hour, after-class program.

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly Salary (RMB): From ¥15,000 per month. Negotiable based on specific qualification (If renewing the contract, the salary of the summer vacation will be fully paid)
• Airfare (RMB): 10000 (Round-trip ticket)
• Living Allowance (RMB): 400/ Year
• Travel Allowance (RMB): 1100/ Semester
• Renew Contract Allowance (RMB): 1500 / Year Reimbursement of RMB 1500 for travelling in China
• Holidays: Summer holiday, winter holiday, Christmas and other legal holidays as Chinese citizens

Housing

• Free apartment with bedroom and living room, kitchen, bathroom.
• Basic facilities in the apartment: Heating, air conditioner, bathroom with shower, TV, refrigerator, washing machine, furniture, kitchen utensils
