Lecturer of Criminal Justice
Hiring Salary/Recruiting Range: Commensurate with education and experience.
Department: College of Criminal Justice
General Requirements: The successful candidate will receive a nine-month contract for the academic year and may be issued a separate contract in summer.
Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties: Teach four (4) undergraduate classes each semester based on departmental needs (online, or face-to-face). This position also carries a service expectation focused on student recruitment and prospective student engagement.
Educational Requirements for the Position (Faculty Positions Only): Candidates must have a master's degree in criminal justice or a closely related academic field.
Experience Required for the Position (Faculty Positions Only): Preference will be given to candidates who have experience as a criminal justice professional and/or who have proficiency in teaching criminal justice courses (college or university). Additionally, preference will be given to those who posses online instructional experience.
