Responsibilities
Support the mission and goals of the Langdale College of Business Administration and the Department, including:
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. Teaching assignments will be based on departmental needs and SACSCOC/AACSB Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
- Engaging in quality scholarly activities consistent with AACSB accreditation.
- Actively participating in various departmental, college, and university activities, including participating in student org activities such as the SAM VSU chapter.
Teaching and Service - 100%
Teaches classes and meets assigned service obligations.
Required Qualifications
- A terminal/doctoral degree in management from an AACSB-accredited institution (ABD may be considered)
- Qualify as a Scholarly Academic by AACSB standards by time of appointment
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and services, as well as scholarship
Preferred Qualifications
- A record of effective teaching appropriate to the applicant's career stage
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting
- Experience teaching online/hybrid courses and face-to-face courses
- Experience in teaching management courses with preference for leadership, human resource, organizational behavior, etc.
