Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties: The Department of Art at Sam Houston State University invites applications for full or part time lecturer/pool faculty. We are seeking applicants with the ability to teach one or more courses in Studio Art, Foundations in Digital Art, or Graphic Design.

Other Specifications/Instructions for the Position: Submit a cover letter, CV, list of names and contact information for three references, examples of personal/professional work, artist statement/research goals, examples of students' work in pdf format (Please include links for examples of personal and student interactive or motion work). Educational Requirements for the Position (Faculty Positions Only): MFA in related Art discipline is required.

Experience Required for the Position (Faculty Positions Only): Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.

Hiring Salary/Recruiting Range: Commensurate with education and experience.
