Job Duties
The Department of Psychology in the College of Letters & Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a lecturer in the area of School Psychology beginning August 2026. This is a half-time position with responsibilities for teaching graduate courses in the School Psychology Program, supervising practicum placements and applied research projects.
This will be a 9-month fixed-term appointment.
Job Details
The position will include teaching 2 courses per semester in the graduate program. Courses include Academic Assessment and Progress Monitoring, Intellectual Assessment, and supervision of Practicum each semester, as well as supervision of Specialist Project research.
Responsibilities
Half-time teaching responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in school psychology, collaborating on curricular changes/program innovations, and supervising student practicum experiences and applied research projects.
Required Qualifications
- An Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in School Psychology from a NASP approved/accredited program in School Psychology
- At least two years of full-time experience as a school psychologist, as well as National Certification as a School Psychologist (NCSP), and licensure (or license eligible) in Wisconsin
- Evidence of potential for effective teaching
