Job Description

Department of Social Work is inviting applications for full-time Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. Rank will commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Requirements for Lecturer / Senior Lecturer

• Candidates should have a master degree in social work or related disciplines, and 5 years of clinical practice experience as a social worker.
• Preference will be given to applicants with at least two years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and conducting fieldwork supervision.
• Applicants are expected to take up teaching task, fieldwork supervision and administrating task.

Requirements for Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor

• Candidates should have a doctorate degree in social work or related disciplines, and 5 years of clinical practice experience as a social worker.
• Preference will be given to applicants with at least two years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and a good track record in research and publication.
• Applicants are expected to pursue an active research agenda.
• Fields of specialization could include, but not limited to, children and family; youth work; digital social work practice; support for children with special needs; social service management; interdisciplinary collaboration; social policy and advocacy.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English is required.
