Applications are invited for a temporary part-time (0.8FTE) post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Radiography and Diagnostic Imaging within UCD School of Medicine.
Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor (0.8FTE fixed term) within the Radiography and Diagnostic Imaging Section, School of Medicine, UCD. The candidates must hold a Radiography degree qualification. Candidates must have Radiography experience in clinical and/or education of at least 2 years. The post is due to commence from 1st September 2026.
The post offers an exciting opportunity to work in the Section of Radiography and Diagnostic Imaging in the UCD School of Medicine. The Radiography & Diagnostic Imaging Section is the national centre for undergraduate Radiography education, and we also offer a graduate entry radiography pathway and a range of taught graduate courses and CPD offerings. The posts will principally involve teaching and assessment and support of undergraduate Radiography education and the provision of high-quality scholarship and contribution to the delivery of professional training within the Section of Radiography & Diagnostic Imaging. Teaching areas of particular interest are with respect to Imaging Technology, Radiation Safety. Interventional Imaging and Computed Tomography. Postgraduate teaching and assessment roles will be included dependent on candidates' expertise.
The University will particularly welcome applications from those who can best further the development and integration of the Radiography and Diagnostic Imaging Section of the School and foster collaboration with other disciplines and institutions nationally and internationally.
95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above the Bar (7943) Salary: €66,055 - €104,600 Per Annum Pro Rata @ 0.8FTE
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
