Lenfest Operations Assistant - Part Time
The Lenfest Operations Assistant supports ticketing and guest services operations for the Lenfest Center for the Arts, a dynamic performing arts venue that hosts theater, music, dance, lectures, and special events throughout the year. This position serves as a key point of contact for guest, providing exceptional customer service while facilitating ticket sales, event information, and audience support. The successful candidate will be dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons in person, by phone, and via email.
- Process ticket sales, exchanges, cancellations, refunds, and related financial transactions using the VBO ticketing system.
- Accurately reconcile cash drawers and daily receipts.
- Prepare and administer rental agreements and contracts for internal and external clients, including related billing, journal entries, payment transfers, and external contracting processes.
- Create and manage event reservations and rental bookings within the 25Live scheduling system.
- Assist patrons with inquiries and Lost & Found services.
- Support daily box office and event operations in partnership with the Assistant Director, ensuring continuity of service and workflow.
- Perform general administrative duties, including correspondence, recordkeeping, and office organization.
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: This position is limited to 29 or fewer hours per week and less than 999 hours each anniversary year. Nights and weekends are required.
Pay Rate: The hourly pay for this position is $20.00.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required with a minimum of one to three years work experience in an administrative support capacity.
- Must have strong attention to detail and be able to multitask.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide customer service courteously and work effectively with all constituencies.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in the use of a centralized ticketing system, and basic accounting knowledge is preferred.
