Library Services Assistant (2 Positions Available)
Description of Work:
This position is responsible for the Weekend and Evening service point coverage of the Love Library Complex, including the Adele Hall Learning Commons and Dinsdale Family Learning Commons, including but not limited to service point and functional student worker supervision, and for building issues, including but not limited to security, closing, and emergency protocols.
Two openings are available and scheduled work hours will vary to align with library hours based on the academic calendar. Both positions will have a one hour unpaid lunch break.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma plus two years relevant work experience to include customer service experience; equivalent education/experience considered.
- Advanced computer operating skills.
- Independent problem solving skills.
- Excellent customer service, listening, and oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to be outgoing, proactive, and collaborative.
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing demand.
Preferred Qualifications:
The following qualifications are preferred but not required:
- Ability to operate an integrated library system.
- General knowledge of library resources.
- Functional supervision and training skills.
Posted Salary:
$15.75/hr minimum
