We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for an inpatient locums opportunity with an established cardiovascular program in Tennessee.

Call-only assignment
In-house coverage
Inpatient setting
Established cardiac surgery program
Cerner EMR
Travel and lodging assistance available
Temporary privileges available

Clinical Responsibilities

The provider will support a broad cardiothoracic and vascular surgery service and should be comfortable with:

CABG
Valve repair and replacement
TAVR
Thoracic surgery procedures
Carotid endarterectomy
Vascular procedures
Post-operative cardiac patient management
ICU and cardiac stepdown coverage

Requirements

Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon
Tennessee license or IMLC eligibility
Fellowship training preferred
Active ACLS certification

Assignment Details

Coverage begins November 2026
Inpatient call coverage
Approximate daily volume of 10-15 patients
