Job description and requirements
We are now seeking a thoracic radiologist for our department at the region’s central hospital. As a breast radiologist, you will be responsible for independently assessing clinical patients using, for example, tomosynthesis, ultrasound, and various types of biopsies, including stereotactic and tomosynthesis-guided vacuum-assisted biopsies. You will also perform preoperative localisation of tumours, lead or participate in multidisciplinary conferences, and supervise resident physicians. The hospital is also pleased that breast MRI can now be performed in this region and therefore values MRI expertise among applicants.
Terms of employment
Work is carried out on weekdays (no weekends): Monday–Thursday, 7:15 AM–4:30 PM, and Fridays, 7:15 AM–12:15 PM.
No on-call duty, evenings, or weekends.
The department is located in a newly constructed building at the hospital with brand-new, modern premises, right by the sea. (sea view from the break room)
The salary is difficult to determine at this time, but a board-certified specialist in 2025 will have a salary of approximately 75,000–80,000, depending on previous experience.
If you are under 40, you have 25 days of annual leave, which then increases to 31 days in the year you turn 40 and to 32 days in the year you turn 50.
