Remuneration: $122,852 to $134,385 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $103,811 to $113,557 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
Location: Gardens Point (hybrid option available)
Open to: Current staff members of QUT who have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the fixed-term appointment. We are seeking a Management Accountant to join Faculty Operations, Faculty of Business and Law.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training, and/or relevant experience equivalent to completing a degree in a related discipline with applicable work experience are required. Working toward or holding professional membership with The Australian Society of CPAs, Institute of Chartered Accountants, or an equivalent organization.
- Financial management skills in developing, reviewing and analysing large budgets using a range of corporate financial systems and demonstrated experience in applying financial governance principles.
- Demonstrated ability to provide accurate advice on financial and other data in a clear and concise manner to a variety of stakeholders.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to gather and integrate information from several sources to enable accurate and strategic decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to high-performance culture that is committed to continuous improvement and innovation of processes and services.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport and manage collaborative working relationships, engage with a diverse client group and work effectively in a high performing team.
- Advanced digital literacy skills and high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products (including databases) and financial packages such as Oracle, with the ability to develop reports.
