Job Description
The Manager of Facilities Procurement and Inventory plays a crucial role in MU Facilities Operations, ensuring the efficient acquisition, management, and distribution of inventory valued at approximately $5 million annually. This position supports the operational needs of all departments within Campus Facilities, optimizing resources and maintaining high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee purchasing activities for facilities inventory, ensuring compliance with university policies and budgetary guidelines.
- Manage logistics and delivery processes, coordinating timely receipt and distribution of goods across campus.
- Collaborate with all departments within MU Facilities Operations to assess procurement needs and support ongoing projects.
- Utilize software programs including PeopleSoft, WebTMA, Maximo, and Microsoft Office products to track inventory, process orders, and generate reports.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, monitor usage, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure quality and reliability of supplies.
Shift: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
