Job Description
The Senior Student Services Coordinator promotes lifelong engagement, fosters a sense of belonging, and supports critical student development within the fraternity and sorority community. This position is housed in the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL), within the Student Involvement Center, and works collaboratively with four governing councils representing 22 nationally affiliated fraternities and sororities, one local sorority, and two colonies
This role provides leadership for community standards, student engagement initiatives, and educational programming while contributing to institutional priorities related to student recruitment, retention, and alumni engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership and coordination for the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life, including supporting strategic planning, assessment efforts, and resource allocation
- Administering and maintaining membership data through the Greek Member Manager (GMM) system
- Managing and assessing the Greek Standards of Excellence program and related initiatives
- Serving as a liaison to the Dean of Students Office on conduct matters within the fraternity and sorority community
- Advising assigned governing councils and maintaining relationships with chapter leaders and members
- Developing, implementing, and assessing educational initiatives, including leadership development, community standards, and hazing prevention efforts
- Coordinating recruitment and intake processes in partnership with council leadership
- Supporting large-scale community programming such as Greek Week, Greek Sing, and other educational events
- Engaging alumni through ongoing communication efforts, including newsletters
- Representing the Student Involvement Center on campus committees and serving as a liaison to admissions-related programs and events
- Performing other duties as assigned in support of the Division of Student Affairs
Shift
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, occasional nights, weekends.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a higher education setting
- Experience with fraternity and sorority life programs
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and programs
