The School of Business and Management is looking for a seasoned IT professional to fill the position of Manager to lead its Technical Team. Responsibilities include:
- Manage SBM Technical Team to provide technical support and consultation services to SBM faculty and staff.
- Manage the computer upgrade needs for Dean's Office users.
- Manage the network infrastructure and file servers for the School.
- Coordinate the facility upgrade for the School area renovation.
- Manage the computation environment and database subscription for faculty research.
- Manage the AV facility in School classrooms and meeting rooms.
- Liaise with ITSO on network security and infrastructure upgrade exercises for the School.
- Manage the E-lock Door Access Control System for the School.
- Act as Inventory Controller for the School.
The applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in IT disciplines, with at least 7 years of relevant work experience with supervisory duties in IT / technical support at a sizable organization. The appointee should be responsible, self-motivated, service/ client-oriented, a good team player, with good communication skills, project management skills and supervisory skills. A strong command of IT skills and various computer applications, including programming skills and experience, and a good command of language skills in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese/ Putonghua) are required. Work outside normal office hours may be required. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
