Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and driven marketing professional to support the development and execution of integrated marketing, communications, and outreach strategies. This role combines marketing campaign delivery, stakeholder engagement, and event activation to strengthen brand awareness and engagement with key audiences locally.
Marketing & Communications
- Develop and implement integrated marketing and communications plans to support organisational objectives.
- Create and manage content across digital platforms, including social media, email marketing, and web.
- Support brand positioning and messaging across campaigns and outreach initiatives.
- Analyse campaign performance and engagement metrics to optimise future efforts.
Outreach & Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including educational institutions, industry partners, and community organisations.
- Identify and develop partnership opportunities to expand outreach and visibility.
- Represent the organisation at external engagements, networking sessions, and outreach activities.
Events & Engagement
- Conceptualise, plan, and execute a range of events such as open houses, talks, workshops, and outreach programmes.
- Manage event logistics, timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality event experiences.
- Support the development of engagement materials and event-related content.
- Comfortable with public speaking and stakeholder presentations.
Project Management & Strategy
- Support cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives led by the Communications team.
- Ensure alignment across marketing, outreach, and engagement activities.
- Track and report on key performance indicators for campaigns and events.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A recognised degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- At least 4–7 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, outreach, or event management.
- Strong experience in digital marketing and content development is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
- A proactive, collaborative, and adaptable working style.
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, Canva, and digital marketing platforms is advantageous.
- Experience in education, public sector, or purpose-driven organisations is a plus.
- Exposure to partnership development or community engagement work.
- Interest in youth engagement, technology, or innovation-related sectors.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends to support events and outreach activities.
