University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach on-site in Naples, Italy for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.
UMGC's MBA curriculum includes the following concentration areas:
- Cybersecurity Management and Policy
- Cybersecurity Technology
- Data Analytics
- Human Resource Management
- Finance
- Global Business
- Marketing
- Nonprofit Management
- Project Management
- General Management
Required Education and Experience
- Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field aligned with one or more of the concentration areas listed above from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Professional experience in one or more of the listed concentration areas.
- Experience teaching adult learners in online and/or higher education environments strongly preferred.
- Applicants must reside locally. Adjunct faculty positions are not eligible for UMGC-sponsored logistical support. Candidates must have and maintain legal authorization to work in the country where they are applying to teach.

The Adjunct Faculty Role at UMGC
Your role as an adjunct faculty member will be to:
- Actively engage students through frequent interaction that motivates them to succeed, and conveys a genuine energy and enthusiasm for their learning.
- Guide students in active collaboration and the application of their learning in problem- and project-based learning demonstrations.
- Provide rich and regular constructive feedback, utilizing rubrics effectively for the assessment of student work, and acknowledging student accomplishments.
- Demonstrate relevant and current subject-matter expertise, and help students connect concepts across their academic program.
- Provide feedback to your program chair on possible curricular improvements.

Hiring Range by Degree:
Non-PhD: Step 1 $903 - Step 16 $1,173 per credit hour
PhD: Step 1 $931 - Step 16 $1,215 per credit hour
