Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized maternal and fetal care for high-risk pregnancies in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including OBGYNs, neonatologists, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in the teaching and mentorship of OBGYN residents and medical students.
- Engage in clinical research opportunities to advance the field of maternal-fetal medicine.
- Perform and interpret advanced fetal imaging, including ultrasound and invasive fetal diagnostic procedures.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Strong interest in academic medicine, including teaching and research.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
