Medical Assistant I or II

Job Summary

This position provides assistive care to patients at the RedMed Employee Clinic in the A. Ray Olpin Student Union Building on campus. The certified employee facilitates the efficient delivery of patient care, supports the professional role of the licensed staff, and provides support and assistance as directed by licensed staff in rendering basic healthcare to the patient. This position also encompasses clerical duties as a cross functional team member. This position may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and according to State Law.

This position is eligible for university benefits including; medical-dental-wellness coverage, an additional 14.2% of salary employer contribution to retirement (401a), paid leave, paid holidays, tuition reduction for employees and family, free UTA transport pass and others.
