Medical Physics/Medical Imaging Specialist (Assistant, Associate or Full) 2025-2026
The Department of Radiological Sciences, University of California, Irvine, anticipates openings for non-senate, academic term appointments as Assistant, Associate and Full Specialist. The position involves research investigation in the areas of cardiovascular and dual energy CT. Research in this laboratory focuses on applications of medical x-ray imaging for cardiovascular disease. Preferred Qualifications: Those who possess a strong motivation to pursue an academic medical physics career are encouraged to apply. Strong background in physics, mathematics and software or hardware development skills are essential for this research. Training or working experience in CT physics, radiological physics and detector physics is desirable. Also the ability to communicate both verbally and in written format is important. Irvine is located in beautiful, sunny Southern California and is considered the safest city in the US. It is a delightful place to live and work.
