NOCCCD is now accepting applications for a Mortuary Science Instructor at Cypress College!

Salary Range

$1572.67 - $1725.85 per lecture unit rate, $1572.67 - $1725.85 per lab parity unit rate, $1258.16 - $1380.60 per lab unit rate

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree or equivalent foreign degree AND a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or closely related discipline OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area; AND ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: Six (6) years of professional experience directly related to the assignment which must include clinical decedent care as a licensed embalmer. Graduation from an institution of funeral service education accredited by the ABFSE. National Board Exam certification from the ICFSEB not later than the first day of the semester, as a condition of employment. Possession of a valid California funeral director’s license or acquisition of California license not later than the first day of the semester, as a condition of employment.
