MS Counseling Adjunct /Affiliate
Cornerstone University is seeking a part-time, adjunct or affiliate teaching faculty in MS Counseling beginning Fall 2026. Positions are available for our online graduate program. This is a remote position. We are a theologically conservative Christian University located in Grand Rapids, MI. Candidates can look forward to teaching courses in the major. Successful candidates will give evidence of scholarly potential and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in graduate-level instruction contributing to our Master of Science (MS) program. Requirements and Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibilities of the faculty are teaching, spiritual modeling and mentoring, scholarship, and involvement in and service to Cornerstone and the general community.
- The Cornerstone counseling program provides a Christ-focused education that is dedicated to smaller class sizes and training of students.
- Experience related to clinical practice or counseling is desirable.
- Our faculty enjoy working together to mentor and teach our eager students the complexities of human thinking and connection with a Christian Worldview.
- A successful candidate will hold a PhD in Counseling Education, PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy, or currently enrolled in their doctoral program.
Salary and Start Date:
- Adjunct/Affiliate pay varies with the number of credits taught, the course modality, and faculty credentials.
- Desired Start Date: Fall 2026
