Musculoskeletal Radiologist & Fellowship program Director
The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting a dedicated and forward-thinking Musculoskeletal Imaging Faculty Member and Program Director of the MSK Fellowship. About the Role
With strong backing from the Chair of Radiology and MSK Division leadership, the incoming Program Director will have the opportunity to:
- Lead and continually enhance the MSK fellowship that prepares graduates for diverse academic and private practice careers.
- Oversee fellow recruitment, curriculum design, didactic education, and case-based learning across MR, CT, ultrasound, radiography, and image-guided MSK procedures.
- Mentor fellows in research, scholarship, quality improvement, and professional development.
- Partner with Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to advance integrated musculoskeletal care.
- Contribute to a robust MSK practice while cultivating a culture of teamwork, transparency, and shared purpose within the division.
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals with:
- Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology with strong clinical expertise across MSK imaging.
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology and eligibility for medical licensure in Maryland.
- A genuine passion for teaching, mentorship, and fellowship education, with a collaborative leadership style and commitment to learner-centered training.
