Position: Native English teachers for English majors and native French teachers for French majors.

University Introduction:

Hebei University of Technology is a university jointly built by Hebei Provincial People’s Government, Tianjin Municipal People’s Government and the Ministry of Education. It is one of the national “Project 211” key universities. In 2016, Hebei University of Technology was selected as one of the “National First-class University Construction” universities, and in September 2017, selected as one of the “World First-class Discipline Construction” universities.

School of Foreign Languages of Hebei University of Technology is located in Hongqiao District, Tianjin. It has three undergraduate programs: English Department, Japanese Department and French Department, one graduate degree program (Master of Translation and Interpreting), and three college English teaching departments. It also has the Foreign Literature Research and Translation Center, the International Service Center, the Foreign Language Contest Center, the Academic English Center and IELTS Test Center of Hebei University of Technology.

Application Requirements:

1. The applicants have to abide by the Constitution and laws of the People’s Republic of China and the rules and regulations of the University.
2. The applicants must abide by teacher ethics, and have no criminal record.
3. Native or official language: Native English teacher:English
   Native French teacher: French
4. Education background: Master’s degree preferred.
5. English teacher: TESOL Certificate or 2 years of teaching experience, able to provide supporting documents as required.
   French teacher: 2 years of teaching experience, able to provide supporting documents as required.

Job Description

English teacher:

1. Teaching English Situational Communication A/B and other basic courses for English majors.
2. Other tasks assigned by the school, such as after-class tutoring, and participating in or organizing extracurricular activities. Participation in teaching and research activities is needed.

French teacher:

1. Teaching Audio-Oral French and other basic courses for French majors.
2. Other tasks assigned by the school, such as after-class tutoring, and participating in or organizing extracurricular activities. Participation in teaching and research activities is needed.
