Neuro-oncologist - All Ranks: Assistant/Associate/Professor of Neurology at CUMC
The Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons, Department of Neurology, in collaboration with the NCI-designated Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (HICCC), is seeking a full-time neuro-oncologist. This position will support the clinical, educational, and research missions in the division, particularly clinical care and clinical trials for brain tumors. The optimal candidate will have strong interest in patient care. The position includes outpatient clinical activity, inpatient neuro-oncology consultation; teaching of residents, fellows and student; and enrolling patients to clinical trials for primary and metastatic brain cancers.
This role includes opportunities for additional compensation aligned with the department's comprehensive compensation plan. Compensation and academic rank will vary based on credentials, expertise, and experience.

Minimum Requirement:
- M.D. or M.D. Ph.D., or D.O. or equivalent
Additional Qualifications:
- Active Certification or eligibility for Certification in Neuro-Oncology from the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialities (UCNS)
- Excellent patient care, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- New York State medical license
- Federal DEA
- Ability to obtain Connecticut medical license and Controlled Substance Provider (CSP) registration
- Ability to obtain New Jersey medical license and Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) registration
- Ability to obtain Florida medical license or Florida telehealth license
- Active membership in good standing of the Society for Neuro-Oncology and American Society of Clinical Oncology
- Able to meet New York Presbyterian Hospital-Medical Staff Office credentialing requirements
