The School of Medicine and the Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Specialty Care to work with our Alzheimer and Dementia patients. This position will provide vital clinical support for the MU Department of Neurology & the Dementia Infusion Program.

• Mon – Friday Schedule with no call or weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide independent and collaborative care for dementia and Alzheimer patients in an outpatient setting
• Communicate with physicians regarding clinical changes, diagnostic results, and symptomatology
• Respond quickly and accurately to patient condition changes
• Perform treatments and interventions, as indicated
• Educate patients and families, and facilitate clinical research
• Utilize basic computer skills, problem-solving abilities, and adapt to varied work settings

Shift

Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
Must be granted a “Document of Recognition” from the Missouri Board of Nursing.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 annually
Grade: PAT - 013
University Title: NURSE PRACTITIONER - SC II
