Neuroradiologist - Academic Clinician - Senior Ranks

Description

The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of neuroradiology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be certified by the American Board of Radiology and be neuroradiology CAQ-eligible. Completion of a two-year neuroradiology fellowship is strongly recommended. Rank will be commensurate with experience.

Teaching responsibilities may include daily clinical supervision, teaching residents and fellows during readouts and conferences, and participating in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical sub-specialties. Teaching of medical students will be limited to those rotating through the Department of Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Pennsylvania Hospital. The successful candidate will be an accomplished educator and be expected to serve in an administrative, educational leadership role within the Neuroradiology division.

Clinical responsibilities may include providing outstanding clinical service to all referring clinicians and expert clinical consultation to our partners in the departments of Emergency Medicine, Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, and Ophthalmology. The successful candidate will also participate in the Neuroradiology off-hours on-call program, including evening, night, and weekend coverage.

Penn Radiology provides clinical services for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia Veteran Affairs Medical Center, and affiliated outpatient imaging centers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
