Non-Teaching Tenure Track Instructor in Athletics / Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Success (Beginning August 2026)

The Department of Athletics welcomes applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Success beginning August 2026. The position is a 9-month appointment that is responsible for assisting the Sr. Associate Director of Athletics and Director of Athletics with the daily operation of the athletic department and coordinating various administrative functions within the department focused on operations and student academic success. The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, supporting the holistic academic endeavors of student-athletes, academic progress, retention and matriculation, academic tracking and games management Candidates applying should also possess demonstrated qualities that would further the academic mission and vision of Millersville University Athletics.
A complete application comprises the following:
- A Cover Letter summarizing how the applicant's education and experience match the required qualifications of the position.
- Copies of registrar-issued unofficial transcripts for all degrees conferred and in progress (the successful candidate will be required to provide registrar-issued official transcripts from the issuing institution(s) directly to the Provost's Office by the start date).
- Three current letters of reference, (applicant to submit names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of individuals who will be contacted to upload current letters of reference directly to a confidential website).
