Nontenure Faculty Pool - Department of Management

Position Description

The Department of Management in the McCoy College of Business seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach Management courses. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses and/or online, depending on the needs of the academic department.

This posting is for the fall 2025, spring 2026, and summer 2026 semesters.

Required Qualifications

• Specific educational requirements vary by position, but a minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field is generally required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience is preferred.
