Nontenure Faculty Pool - Department of Organization, Workforce, and Leadership Studies (OWLS)
The Department of Organization, Workforce, and Leadership Studies (OWLS) seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary and nontenured faculty to teach. Temporary and nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and department need. Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos and/or Round Rock campuses and/or online, depending on the needs of the Department of Organization, Workforce, and Leadership Studies.
This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. Please note that this posting is not intended to convey that such a need currently exists. Applicants applying for a pool faculty position will be available to the departmental search committee for consideration as the need arises.
Positions are subject to availability of funds.
