Job Duties
The Department of English and Foreign Language offers programs leading to a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Secondary Education Endorsement, and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Creative Writing Concentration. The Department also offers courses in French, Spanish, and Public Speaking as part of the general education requirement.
Minimum Qualifications
- MS or Ph.D. in English and/or Foreign Language
- Record of/or potential for commitment to student centered teaching that fosters an engaging learning environment.
Additional Considerations
- Experience teaching English or Foreign Language courses in higher education.
- Experience teaching College English I and II, Professional/Technical Writing, Public Speaking and/or Elementary Spanish I and II.
- Experience with online learning management systems (Blackboard Ultra or similar).
