AUIB is seeking a dynamic and experienced part-time nurse to drive its mission of improving the health and wellness of our communities. In this pivotal role, the nurse prepares patients for medical exams, measure vital signs and provide direct patients care. Key Responsibilities

1. Provide direct patient care including triage, vital signs, wound dressing, and medication administration.
2. Assist the doctor during examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
3. Respond to campus medical emergencies and coordinate first aid or ambulance services.
4. Maintain accurate patient records, treatment logs, and inventory of medical supplies.
5. Administer vaccinations and monitor chronic conditions under physician supervision.
6. Ensure the clinic adheres to infection control and sterilization standards.
7. Support health awareness campaigns and student wellness initiatives.
8. Participate in continuous professional development and emergency preparedness drills.

Ideal Candidate Profile

1. Should be thorough, patient, and able to stay calm under pressure
2. Should have excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
3. Should evaluate the contents and side effects of prescribed medication to ensure the patient’s safety.
4. Should explain to patients about how to take medication and what its potential side effects are.
5. Should educate the patients about using or administering their medications.

Education and Experience

• Required Education: Master’s degree in nursing from a recognized educational institution.
• Years of Relevant Experience: minimum 5 years of experience
• Specific Skills or Expertise: Fluent in Arabic and English language with excellent communication skills.
• Additional Certifications: additional training and internationally respected certificates are preferred.
