We are seeking a part time Occupational Health Nurse to join a small team within the Occupational Health Unit, assisting the Senior Occupational Health Nurse in the delivery of a comprehensive occupational health service to the University including staff, postgraduate and undergraduate students. You will be required to undertake a full range of occupational health provision, including vaccinations, phlebotomy, health screening and surveillance. You will also be required to complete confidential health records using the OH database and ensuring that the service complies with University and SEQOHS standards.
With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with relevant clinical knowledge and skills and substantial nursing experience. Experience in a similar OH setting would be desirable but not essential.
Professional and organised, you must also be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills, have a flexible, proactive approach and be able to manage a varied, sometimes challenging, workload with minimal supervision.
This is an exciting time to join the university as we deliver the LJMU Strategy 2030 and its vision of LJMU as an inclusive civic university transforming lives and futures, by placing students at the heart of everything we do.
If you feel that this is the role you have been looking for and your skills and experience can make a real difference at LJMU, we look forward to hearing from you.
LJMU values diversity and provides a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can fulfil their potential.
