"Open Position - Lecturer of Education"

University of California Irvine is seeking temporary, part-time lecturers for its teacher credential and education sciences programs for the 2025-2026 academic year. Classes will be held in person.

Service Period Dates:

• Fall Quarter: September 22, 2025 - December 12, 2025
• Winter Quarter: January 2, 2026 - March 20, 2026
• Spring Quarter: March 25, 2026 - June 12, 2026

Minimum Qualifications: A master's degree, a record of successful teaching experience, and demonstrated expertise in the content of the course to be taught. Relevant experience may be considered.

Desired Qualifications: A doctoral degree in education or a related field. Teaching at the university level; experience with digital learning technologies and using Canvas as a learning management system.

Salary: A reasonable estimate for this position is $70,977-$75,301 at a workload of 33%-100%. See the salary range here.
