The Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley is inviting applications for a full-time faculty in the CAPTE Candidate Doctoral Physical Therapy Program. This is an open rank, clinical-track solicitation. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with the applicant's experience and qualifications and based on established university and department standards. The start date for the position is 1 September 2026.

The successful candidate will: teach courses in their area of expertise; advise and mentor physical therapy students; participate in university, professional and community service; and engage in scholarship. Additionally, the successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and expertise in one or more of the following physical therapy areas: pediatrics, adult neurological management, geriatrics, pelvic floor rehabilitation, acute care, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, health and wellness, or management of chronic health conditions.
