The Department of Biomedical Sciences at CMSRU is committed to
fostering excellence in teaching and multidisciplinary research.
The department currently consists of 30 faculty members. Areas of
faculty expertise include microbiology, immunology, cancer biology,
molecular and cell biology, genetics/genomics, neurobiology, and
physiology. Our goal is to advance learning and knowledge through
multidisciplinary scholarship and delivery of the basic science
curriculum for medical, graduate, and undergraduate students.
CMSRU is the only four-year M.D. degree-granting medical school in
southern New Jersey. Our medical education building is located in
Camden, NJ, near Philadelphia, in the heart of the Cooper Health
Sciences Campus.

Salary:
In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act,
the annual base salary range for this position is:
· Assistant professor: Ranges 24, 26, 29
· Associate professor: Ranges 32, 33, 36
· Full professor: Ranges 41, 42, 43
with placement within the range determined by candidate's
qualifications, professional experience, internal equity, and other
