Description
The Yale School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation are leaders in patient care, education, and non-surgical and surgical innovation. We seek a PM&R physician for a full-time faculty position with interest and expertise in Interventional Physiatry.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Outpatient clinical services focused on spine and general musculoskeletal care.
- This includes fluoroscopically guided spinal procedures.
- Proficiency in ultrasound guided musculoskeletal interventions is also preferred.
- Participate in the training of residents, medical students, and other allied health students.
Secondary Opportunities may include:
- Research:if desired, engage in research activities, depending on the wishes and skill set of the candidate. Research is supported and valued.
- Orthobiologics if interested.
- NCS/EMG skillset is not required but there are opportunities for interested candidates.
- Interventional spasticity management if interested.
- Inpatient consultations if interested.
Academic Appointment:
- Assistant or Associate Professor commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Practice Details:
Competitive Salary's with RVU based bonus
Outpatient practice working primarily Monday through Friday. No in-person call. Telephone call service divided amongst the outpatient physiatry team which is generally light. Residents are first call.
