"Outpatient Rehab Aide (Hospital Assistant 2)"

Under supervision of the Practice Manager, Rehab Supervisor and licensed therapists, the Rehab Aide, (Hospital Assistant 2) assists in the delivery of care to patients being seen in the practice, including direct and indirect support. Work includes a variety of personal care and basic clinical procedures including assuring positive care outcomes.

They will perform assigned patient care and review of systems data collection in support of the specialty care services provided to patients within the practices, including physical therapy, Occupational therapy, and Speech-language pathology practice. They are required to learn and be able to assist in procedures. They are required to adhere to the Telephone and House Standards as adopted by UCSF.

The Rehabilitative aide actively participates in departmental and organizational programs, including performance improvement activities, inservices and staff development activities.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $29.63 - $36.99 (Hourly Rate).
