The Opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
This is a permanent, full-time role based at AUT's South Campus.
As an Outreach and Engagement Officer, you'll be part of an engagement team working across AUT's three campuses, helping students discover and make the most of everything Te Mātāpuna Library and Learning Services offers. Day to day, you'll create social media content, plan and run events and activations, and provide frontline service at the library helpdesk and via online chat — the first friendly points of engagement for many students. You'll be a visible presence on campus, working to lift student awareness of the library's spaces, workshops, and learning support.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine enjoyment of working with people
- Comfortable using social media, with an interest in creating content and confidence learning new digital tools
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills, with initiative and follow-through
- A bachelor's degree. Recent graduates welcome.
- An adaptable, can-do approach
