Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator

The Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator supports ALLARM's programming by recruiting, cultivating, and educating a network of volunteers in Pennsylvania and New York who are interested in evaluating watershed health.

Responsibilities of the position are to:

• Manages ALLARM’s volunteer monitoring programs by recruiting, cultivating, educating and maintaining relationships with communities conducting water quality assessments and volunteers participating in Stream Team.
• Represent ALLARM in regional partnerships
• Mentor ALLARM student employees and prepare all ALLARM student interns for community training and educational workshops.
• Coordinate and present at community events such as regional conferences, community meetings, and partner meetings.
• Collect and maintain volunteer data for reporting purpose

Bachelor’s in Environmental Science or Studies, Environmental Education, Earth Sciences, Chemistry, Lab, or other related field
