Work environment: The Institut Charles Gerhardt Montpellier (ICGM) is a joint research unit supported by the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), the University of Montpellier, and the École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier. It is accredited as a Carnot Institute Chimie Balard Cirimat by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

The Electrochemistry for Energy research group within the Chemistry of Materials, Nanostructures and Materials for Energy department is internationally recognized for its research on fuel cells and electrolyzers, spanning the development of proton-conducting membranes and innovative electrocatalysts, electrode architecture design, and the characterization of these functional materials in operating fuel cells and electrolyzers using both conventional electrochemical techniques and advanced in situ and operando characterization methods, including X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS).

The net monthly salary is €2,200.

The contract duration is 2 months.

Requirements

Research Field: Technology
Education Level: PhD or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications: Expertise in electrocatalysis, large-scale data processing (Python/MATLAB), Pair Distribution Function (PDF) analysis, Rietveld refinement, and proficiency in written and spoken English.
