Location
(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Provides high-level administrative and operational support to department leadership. Oversees key functions within Parking and Transportation operations. Responsibilities include staff supervision, administrative tasks such as coordinating with vendors and contractors for quotes, scheduling work, and ensuring the quality and completion of services before invoice approval. Responsible for the parking permitting process for students, staff, and faculty. Optimizes permit allocation through the parking management system. Identifies opportunities for operational improvements and assists in the development and implementation. Develops and maintains a comprehensive operational calendar that encompasses data collection, recurring activities, deadlines, communication plans, procurement requirements, etc. Effective coordination with the operations team, departmental leadership, and other stakeholders is essential for the timely execution of the operations calendar.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for transportation demand management programs and operations
- Supervises and is responsible for performance management of assigned staff and/or student assistants
- Focuses on customer service and event scheduling, as well as collaboration with marketing and department leadership on signage and communication strategies
- Conducts the parking permitting process for students, staff, and faculty, including permit allocation
- Manages the sales, installation, removal, and invoicing processes of all bus, bus shelter, and deck banner advertisements as purchased by internal and external clients
- Maintains an operational calendar for various needs, such as data collection schedules, operational activities, deadlines, communication plans, and contract and procurement needs
- Works with operations team, departmental leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure planning and timely execution of operations calendar
- Coordinates with marketing staff and works collaboratively with department leadership on signage and communication needs
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Business, Accounting, or related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license
Required Experience
Three (3) years of experience related to the position
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Previous experience supporting parking and/or transportation operations
Experience in higher education
Proposed Salary
