Part-time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in Mechanical Engineering Technology
Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Engineering Technology for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate courses in the mechanical engineering technology program
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in mechanical engineering technology or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
OR
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- An earned doctoral degree, or its foreign equivalent, in engineering or closely related field.
- Certified SolidWorks Professional Certification or better.
- Industry experience.
- Professional Engineering license.
- Significant relevant work experience.
- College level teaching and online teaching.
