Part-time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in Technical Communication

Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Technical Communication and Interactive Design for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate courses in Technical Communication, primarily TCOM 2010: Introduction to Technical Writing or lower-level TCID-prefixed classes.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Technical Communication or Professional Writing or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.

OR

• A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
