Our students experience world-class instruction in the Department of Mathematics from faculty who are deeply invested in student success. Nearly all courses offered by the department are designed and taught entirely by full-time faculty. Our small classes allow instructors to develop close individualized relationships with students that sets them on a path for success whether majoring in mathematics or many other related disciplines. Our department has a vibrant research culture and actively engages in mentoring students in original research projects. Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Mathematics for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate courses in mathematics.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in mathematics, or a closely related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experiences of collegiate mathematics courses
