Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of the Wellstar School of Nursing for the academic year 2026-2027. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Nursing discipline
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia
AND
To teach undergraduate courses:
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in (Nursing) or a closely related discipline is required.
OR
To teach graduate courses:
- A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Nursing or a related discipline is required, such as DNP, PhD, EdD.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in nursing education or serving as a preceptor for nursing students in clinical settings
- 1-2 years of Clinical experience in the teaching specialty area
- Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
