Part Time - Bakeshop Food Preparation Assistant
COMPENSATION: Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Bake Shop management, this position will include cutting fruits and vegetables, preparing snack packs, following recipes, some dishwashing and ensuring the great quality of items for campus residential dining and markets and other tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares food products as assigned by production records.
- Cuts and prepares fruit and vegetables in accordance with the specifications of the recipe and par lists.
- Follows approved recipes and standards for consistency and accuracy of products
- Maintains the cleanliness of the workstation at all times.
- Follows all sanitation guidelines ensuring fresh, wholesome products.
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Accepts deliveries and stores raw food products according to established standards.
- Assists in the cleaning of equipment, tools, or pans.
- Must comply with and ensure continued, consistent compliance with all company policies, and federal, state, and local laws/regulations including but not limited to: employment, safety, and health.
